Faringdon Fun Trail
Lord Berners who owned Faringdon House was a skilled artist, writer and musician and very eccentric. Around the town and up at the Faringdon Folly it is possible to see some of the things he added to Faringdon designed to make you smile. As you walk around the centre of Faringdon look up at the buildings and you will find funny signs. More information on the Faringdon Fun Trail can be found out about this at the Tourist information Centre in the market square
Faringdon Folly and Woodlands
Just a few minutes walk from the Piano Gallery is a charming woodland with quirky sculptures for you to find. The woodlands are always open, but to climb the tower I’m afraid is only possible on the 1st and 3rd Sunday between April and October. Although sometimes they opened it up for special events – see www.faringdon.org for more details.
